Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. On him God the Father has placed his seal of approval” (John 1:1-5; 6:26-27).

I was driving to the grocery store one evening around the early 90's and the news was on the radio. The story told just may have saved my life.

It was a report on a Johns Hopkins food research study on a hundred mice with cancer. The researchers put onions in the water of one group of fifty mice, and gave the other just plain water. It turned out that the fifty mice with onion juice were all healed from cancer, and then they put onion juice in the other fifty mice who had previously been given just plain water, and they too were cured of cancer. So, when we lived in Washington State, I added one onion to my families carrot juice that I was already making for us each day.

There were signs in Washington State that I ignored about my health, like one time I began to get so tired that each day, after taking the kids to school, I'd take a nap, and each day I did this, the nap grew from minutes to hours until I napped so long that I had to go pick up the boys at school. However, I began juicing again and I regained my energy and I no longer napped. But after moving to Scottsdale, Arizona, my eating habits really went down the drain. We were building a home and it was fast foods all day long and all for a house now we no longer own and that proved to be a disaster for my health.

Juicing onions or anything else is not a guarentee that someone will survive cancer. Above all things, we must humble ourselves and pray to the Father through Jesus Christ. God alone has the power to heal, and a man made juicer is powerless to do anything, it is no different than a mere garbage disposal. God alone, who made these cancer fighting fruits and vegetables, gets the glory!

Although I had many signs in Washington State that something was wrong, I couldn't figure out what was going on. Then my husband George had a new job waiting for us in Arizona, and I just forgot my symptoms were there. I should have paid more attention to the many signs. When we moved to Arizona, my eating habits were awful, and cancer was the diagnosis.

I Heard a Voice

It was the year 1999, and we were now living in Scottsdale, Arizona and now I was faced with a fever, heavy heavy bleeding and an unbelievable amount of pain. I was misdiagnosed with just a bladder infection but that's not what was wrong with me.

Finally, one morning, I awoke from sleeping because I heard someone call my name, and the voice was loud, short and quick. I jumped straight up in bed and I could hear my husband George in the bathroom getting ready for work. So, I thought it was him calling me so I went to him, and I asked him what he wanted, and he said that he didn't need anything. I asked him if he called for me, and he said no, he didn't call me.

And then I climbed back in bed and once more I heard the voice in my bedroom call out my name. I sat up again and looked around my room, and as I layed my head back on my pillow, I could feel and hear my heart beat really loud and I said, "Oh! Jesus, you’re trying to tell me something." Then I said, “Your telling me I am really sick.” Then I got out of bed and my body had just then hugely bloated. George had left for work and I was just doing what ever I usually do in the morning, and the pain started in again, but this time I knew I needed to get to an emergency room. I was all bent over and I couldn't stand straight up.

So, my son Michael called George at work and he came home, and he took me right away to the emergency room and they verified my cancerous condition with an Ultrasound. The emergency room doctor said it was my Ovaries he was most concerned about. He told me to get to a doctor right away.

Trusting in God

On the Drive home I was not feeling sorry for myself. Instead, I was thinking about what that radio announcer reported back in the 90's, which stated that onion juice reversed cancer in 100 out of 100 mice. I knew that it was the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob who created the onion and all other produce. It only made sense to me that God was perfect in all He created. God, not man, gets all the glory, for He is the creator of every living thing in heaven and on earth. Praise be to God Almighty for He is perfect and holy!

When I got home, I headed for the kitchen to juice an onion I already had, and my son Greg came out of the den and stood in the doorway—asking what the emergency room said, and as I passed him standing there, I told him they said I had cancer and Greg spoke with a stern voice, "Go juice an onion!" He too remembered that news segment about onions reversing cancer as I had many years ago maybe because I then began to add one onion for the entire family when I juiced mostly just carrot juice back then.

I decided to take this serous and juice as much as I could because as someone who did juice I believed this would reverse my cancer as it did for the 100 mice so I juiced one huge onion and it was kind of strong and thick and I choked on the thickness, so I diluted it with water and got out a straw, and I diluted it until it went through the straw easily. I drank three 16oz glasses of onion juice on the first day, and I repeated the three glasses for eleven whole days and during juicing I began adding more and more vegetables or if just juicing onions I replaced water for cranberry juice to the onions which was store bought.

By no means do I want you to feel stuck on pure onions, for there are many fruits and vegetables with amazing cancer fighting chemicals that you can juice alongside one or two onions (see Food List). However, after only a few days drinking the juice, I noticed how wonderful I felt. I realized I was not bleeding at all anymore. Although I had taken cepro for two months already, it was not until the onion juice that my bleeding, rot and water had stopped and other symptoms such as severe pain was gone completely.
