In the Gospel of Matthew, Jesus "called his twelve disciples to him and gave them authority to drive out evil spirits and to heal every disease and sickness" (Matt. 10:1). Just as Jesus gave his disciples the power to heal, countless research studies point to the produce God made in the foundation of the earth.
Science that has already been done points to God as the creator of all things. Remember, the only thing man researches is what God already created. The agriculture community and their merchendisers have, throughout the last several years, attempted to discover the full nutritional content of their many colorful foods. These are fruits and vegetables that grow, as far as the eye can see, from the soil on farms all across America. Grants were given to provide funding for universities stretching from one coast to the other. In controlled studies, Mouse after mouse has had their cancer reversed. This has been a repeated headline in research reports for years.
We all may remember that old saying, "An apple a day keeps the doctor away", or our parents who told us, "Eat your vegetables!" It is senseless to ignore this common sense. Children are quick to push their broccoli off their plate, run to the cookie jar and fill up on sweets. Why is human nature so contrary to nature? Why do chemicals and the machines that make them mean more to us than God's green earth and the farms that produce the fresh fruits and vegetables that are vital to support all life on earth? The flesh wants a quick thrill, and the sweeter the sugar, or the deeper the fat your food is fried in, or the more chemicals that pack our dinner plate, the more we get that instant gratification. However, the hangover can be compared to a night drinking hard alchohol. The end result is the same. Death by diet.
The reward of juicing is that the root, plant and leafy green vegetables focus and concentrate the energy of enzymes, minerals, vitamins and phytonutrients. Instead of eating an entire garden a day, you can juice it, drink it, and feel the radient rays of vital life energy flowing through your nutrient starved body, filling each cell with health, and giving you the hope of a disease free future.
How do I Juice?
When looking for a juicer, I look for one with a big mouth that can feed larger slices of delicious veggies. I prefer a major brand. Also, for the container for the pulp, I usually save my grocery plastic bags and I line the pulp container for easy throw away and clean up. When all has been juiced, you may want to strain out any chunks or pulp.
Our bodies need the nutrients of the veggies. Juicing is actually just a liquid salad, and it is simply mixing a salad and juicing it. Truly, it can be a lot of fun when you understand that you can enjoy adding and mixing in whatever you think can spice it up or sweaten the flavor. It can taste creamy and sweet while flooding the cells with enormous amounts of natural vitamins and minerals.
The natural sugar in the juice may give you a false sense of health. I do not worry about "feeling good" from the juice, but rather, I focued on fasting, taking it seriously, and praying to God with a repentant heart.
Why do I Juice?
There is a scientific language for these vital nutrients. These words include Antioxidents, Phytochemicals,
flavonoids and Phenolics.... just to name a few. Studies at many major Univeristies clearly show veggies to have potent antioxidant and antiproliferation activities. Onions, while it comes already perfect from God, science have renamed parts of the components of the onion with names such as "phenolics and flavonoids, and the more you consume them the stonger their antioxidant activity and protective effects will be" says Dr. Liu at Cornell University.
As you shop for bottled fruit and veggie drinks at the store, you will see one or more of these scientific words on the front. But in truth, you need only to rely on God as the creator, then you will understand truth and not science, as God is not a scientist but the creator of both science and the scientist. These are the definitions as seen in Dr. Liu's report: "Phenolics and flavonoids are types of phytochemicals or antioxidant chemicals that protect plants against bacteria, viruses and fungi.
Phenolics and flavonoids like other antioxidants, help prevent cancer by mopping up cell - damaging free radicals and inhibiting the production of reactive substances that could damage normal cells."
Dr Liu's report shows that onions are one of the richest sources of flavonoids in the human diet, and flavonoid consumption has been associated with a reduced risk of cancer. My testimony was the amount I consumed, and that can only be obtained with juicing.
On a side note, if you are juicing Onions or eating Chocolate, keep it all away from your pets, for while onions are extremely healthy for humans, they can be harmful and even deadly to your dogs.
